If you are a buyer, we will describe items accurately, post promptly and deliver your purchase safely.
Without customers there is no business so we treat you as we would want to be treated ourselves – fairly, honestly and with a sense of humour.
Valuation Services
We provide a valuation service for most antiques and collectable.
Whether you are insuring a valuable item or require a valuation for an item you wish to claim for, we are here to help.
If you have an item you are not sure if it is worth insuring or not, send us a photo and we will give you some quick advice free of charge. If you wish to sell the item, please state this in the email.
EQC valuation fees can be claimed back from EQC should they accept your claim.
Robert Woolley
Rob (email rbwoolley@gmail.com) has been dealing in antiques – specialising in English china – for almost 20 years. He enjoys meeting people, the banter, the adventure of maybe finding something rare but takes equal pleasure in finding what his customers collect. Honesty, humour and being fair are his core values as well as being completely down to earth.
Rob’s other interests include public speaking, presenting, training, was former District Director of Toastmasters New Zealand and co-founder of Christchurch Speakers.
Rob has worked extensively with people-who-stutter in multiple countries when Regional Director of the McGuire Program and is a student of business and founder of Talk Business a Christchurch Networking group.
He has combined these skills to deliver Antiques Roadshow style talks about Antiques and Collectables to various community groups (retirement homes, church groups, Rotary) and has occasionally been an auctioneer for Fundraising events.
