Call and arrange a free in-home appraisal – we come to you. We service most of Canterbury to appraise and make offers on whatever you care to show us. We make an offer on the day and hope you make a decision on the day but there is no obligation to sell.
In order for us to purchase from you, we just need your:
- name, address and contact number
- and arrange day and time for appointment
We pay by cheque or internet banking on the day – bank details and Photo ID required. We do not carry and do not pay by cash.
If we do not buy your goods we guarantee to point you in the right direction. We want everyone to be glad they rang Academy.

Rob has been dealing in antiques, specialising in English china for almost 20 years. He enjoys meeting people, the banter, the adventure of maybe finding something rare but takes equal pleasure in finding what his customers collect. Honesty, humour and being fair are his core values as well as being completely down to earth. Rob’s other interests include public speaking, presenting, working with people who stutter and is a student of business and leadership.
